Driving is a large part of all of our lives, but some people just don’t know how to handle the pressure of driving around in a large motorized vehicle…or how to avoid being crushed by one. The purpose of this segment is to go down the large dirty laundry list of things that need fix’n on the road…in or out of the car!
If you’re approaching a stop light…there is no need to suddenly hit your brakes when you’re 30 feet away from the car in front of you. There is positively no need to do that! Stopping at a stoplight is supposed to be nice and gradual. You know…to not freak out the cars behind you by doing something they don’t expect you to. You don’t just suddenly lay a firm foot on your brakes (my awkward way of saying “not slamming on the brakes, but still hitting them pretty hard”)….much less when you’re still 30 feet away from the nearest car in front of you, and even worse when that car in front of you is another 15 feet away from the stop light!
1) If you’re in the way of someone who’s in their car and can easily get out of the way….MOVE. And ESPECIALLY don’t just STARE!
2) Gradually slow down when approaching stop lights. DO NOT suddenly slam down the brakes, ESPECIALLY when you’re still far away from the actual stopping point.
